Expiry, auto-refill and transfers
When credits expire, how auto-refill decides to charge your card, why discounts do not apply to it, and how to move credits between your workspaces.

You are warned before purchased credits expire. Because the spend order is soonest-first, credits nearing expiry are already being used ahead of everything else.
Auto-refill
Auto-refill watches your balance. When it falls below a threshold you set, it charges your saved card for a pack you choose and adds the credits — so a long job does not stop halfway.
Three things worth knowing:
- It needs a saved payment method. Buy a pack or start a plan once and one is saved; until then auto-refill cannot charge.
- There is a cooldown between attempts, so a burst of spending cannot trigger repeated charges within a few minutes.
- Discount codes do not apply. An automatic charge has no checkout for you to type a code into, so it pays the pack price. Use a code on a purchase you make yourself.
Transferring credits between workspaces
Purchased credits can be moved from one of your workspaces to another — useful if you bought a pack in the wrong place.
Only purchased credits transfer. A monthly allowance belongs to the plan that granted it, and carried credits belong to the plan change that created them; neither can be moved, or a plan's value could be shifted somewhere it was never paid for.
