Invoices and receipts

Every charge produces an invoice. Billing history lists them, and each links to a PDF you can download for your records. Receipts are emailed at the time of payment.

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle appears on your card statement, handles tax, and is where your card details are stored — we never see or hold them.

Tax

Tax is calculated by Paddle from your billing address and shown separately on the invoice. If you are a business with a VAT or tax id, enter it at checkout and it appears on the invoice.

Updating your payment method

Use Manage subscription → payment details. It opens Paddle's secure portal. Changing a card there applies to your next renewal and to auto-refill.

Refunds

Refunds are handled case by case — contact support and we will sort it out.

One thing to be aware of: if credits from a refunded purchase have already been spent, the refund still stands, but the spent credits are not restored to your balance. Credits and money are separate ledgers, and we reconcile them rather than pretending a spend did not happen.

Failed payments and debt

A failed renewal does not create a debt. The plan lapses to Free and your purchased credits remain.

The one case that does create a balance owed is a chargeback on credits already spent — money reversed for compute that was genuinely used. That is settled before new purchases go through.

Cancelling and your data

Cancelling ends the subscription. Your account, keys and purchased credits stay; usage history stays. Nothing is deleted by cancelling — deleting a workspace is a separate, explicit action.
